2026 Congressional Art Competition Open to IA-02 Students
Image March 6, 2026 Press Release Washington, D.C. – The Office of Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-02) is now accepting submissions for the Spring 2026 Congressional Art Competition . This nationwide competition offers high school students a special opportunity to highlight their artistic talent and creativity. "The Congressional Art Competition is a fantastic opportunity for young artists across Iowa’s Second District to share their artistic talents. Each year, I’m always impressed by the outstanding submissions and the creativity and stories behind each one. I encourage high school students around the district to take part in this great tradition!" – Congresswoman Ashley Hinson The Congressional Art Competition is open to all high school students (9th – 12th grade) who reside or attend school in the Second Congressional District. The winning artwork will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol, alongside winning artwork from all participating districts from around the country.
