BOST Announces $11 Million Federal Grant for CRAB Orchard Trails

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) today announced the Federal Highway Administration has delivered $11.1 million for the Crab Orchard Greenway Multimodal Network , supporting construction of 12 miles of new multi-use trails . The project is expected to strengthen access and safety for local drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists . “ Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge is a treasure enjoyed by countless Southern Illinois families,” said Bost. “With this important federal funding secured, U.S Fish and Wildlife Service can better enhance outdoor recreation and make travel safer for everyone in the area .” !
