Leader Jeffries Statement on Supreme Court Decision Greenlighting Racial Profiling

Today, Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries released the following statement: Once again, the so-called Supreme Court conservative majority is working in the shadows to undermine the fundamental rights of American citizens. A corrupt group of Supreme Court justices, shamefully hiding behind a veil of anonymity, has sanctioned racial profiling in the United States. This is a stain on the legacy of every single one of those right-wing justices who have gone out of their way to greenlight the Republican extremism being unleashed on the American people. No one in America should be targeted for arrest because of the color of their skin, the language they are speaking or where they work. The Trump administration is out of control, and it is unacceptable to unleash masked ICE agents on law-abiding immigrant families with a license to racially profile. Shame on the Supreme Court.
