Senator César J. Blanco Appointed as First Vice President for
NALEO’s Board of Directors
El Paso, Texas – Yesterday, the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials
(NALEO) announced the election of its Board of Directors for the 2026-2027 term, appointing
Senator César J. Blanco as First Vice President.
NALEO Educational Fund is the nation’s leading non-profit, non-partisan organization that
facilitates full Latino participation in the American political process, from citizenship to public
service.
Senator César J. Blanco issued the following statement:
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve as First Vice President of the Board of Directors for the
National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO). This role is a
responsibility to help open doors, build pathways to public service, and ensure Latino
communities are part of the decisions that shape our future. I look forward to working with
