Sykes Releases Statement on President Trump’s Proposed Cuts to Public Broadcasting WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Representative Emilia Sykes (OH-13) issued the following statement on President Trump’s proposed cuts to public broadcasting. “These proposed cuts to public broadcasting will have a massively negative impact on Ohio’s 13th Congressional District,” said Rep. Sykes. “ Local stations like WEAO and WKSU are critical to our communities, keeping viewers and listeners informed with important news, sports, weather, and traffic updates.
