Gillen Joins Bipartisan Working Group with Law Enforcement Leaders

May 6, 2025 Press Release Image WASHINGTON, D.C. — Ahead of National Police Week, Congresswoman Laura Gillen (NY-04), a member of the Law Enforcement Caucus, joined Congressman John Rutherford (FL-05) and a bipartisan group of lawmakers for the Bipartisan Working Group’s meeting with representatives from the National Association of Police Organizations, the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association, the Major Counties Sheriffs Association, and the Major Cities Chiefs Association. “Every day, our law enforcement officers put themselves in harm’s way to keep our communities and loved ones safe,” said Rep. Gillen. “We must ensure they have the proper training and necessary resources to carry out their duties safely.
