June 16, 2026 Blog Post Hello, it’s Congressman Matt Van Epps. I represent Tennessee’s Seventh Congressional District! Since coming to Congress, I have had the privilege of spending some time in Williamson County! I was humbled to meet with emergency management officials at the Williamson County EMA during Winter Storm Fern to receive updates on local response efforts and thank first responders for their work under challenging conditions. I also spoke at a Vietnam Veterans event, where we honored those who served with a message of gratitude for their sacrifice and dedication to the nation. During another visit, I toured the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, was privileged to speak at an Around Town Coffee event, and concluded with a roundtable discussion with Fairview elected officials to hear directly about local priorities and community needs.
