Chairman Lawler Issues Statement on Iranian Attack That Killed U.S. Service Members In Jordan

Washington, D.C. – 7/18/26… Congressman  Mike Lawler (NY-17), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa, released the following statement after the Iranian attack on U.S. service members in Jordan: “My prayers are with the brave American heroes who were killed, and with the service member who remains missing, following today’s Iranian attack on U.S. service members in Jordan. Iran must be held accountable for this escalation. These courageous Americans made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their selfless dedication and unwavering commitment to defending the United States will never be forgotten.
