Van Orden Statement on Wisconsin Supreme Court Declining Argument for Redistricting

June 25, 2025 Press Release WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Derrick Van Orden (WI-03) released the following statement on the Wisconsin Supreme Court's decision to decline the argument for redrawing the state's congressional district lines: “Today’s decision by the Wisconsin Supreme Court is a victory for the rule of law, election integrity, and the Constitution. The lines as they stand were drawn by Governor Evers and affirmed by the previous state Supreme Court and the U.S. Supreme Court. The Democrats’ repeated attempts to redraw the congressional maps were solely because they did not like the results of free and fair elections. “I am grateful to the state Supreme Court for being impartial in their decision and not caving to partisan politics.
