September 01, 2026 Sites with Sykes: Rep. Sykes Visits Local Charitable Pharmacy and Healthcare Services, McKinley Presidential Library, and Local Businesses U.S. Representative Emilia Sykes (OH-13) hosted Sites with Sykes, an annual segment that takes place during the August district work period. During this time, Rep. Sykes visits local businesses and organizations to see firsthand their daily operations and the impact of their work on Ohio’s 13th Congressional District. This week’s Sites with Sykes included visits to Beacon Charitable Pharmacy, “A Legacy Revived” tour at McKinley Presidential Library, Coleman Health Services, and Rubber City Radio Group. “I traveled the district, meeting with constituents at a local charitable pharmacy and a healthcare services company that employs veterans and people with disabilities, visited the ‘A Legacy Revived’ exhibit at the McKinley Presidential Library, and toured a local radio station,” said Rep. "I have had the great honor of building the Stark County Black History Museum from its inception just one and a half years ago. Today, I am proud to share that the museum’s collection has grown to include more than 150 objects and more than 500 photographs and archival materials, many of which are currently on display in A Legacy Revived: Exploring Stark County’s Rich Black History,” said Tameaka Ellington, Curator of Black History. “The debut exhibition will remain on display through November 27, 2026."
