Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher Delivers Valentines for Veterans

Today, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) delivered more than 1,257 handmade valentines to Houston-area veterans at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center.  As a part of Congresswoman Fletcher’s annual Valentines for Veterans program, students, teachers, and residents of the Seventh Congressional District made these cards, which Congresswoman Fletcher then distributed to local veterans.  Yesterday, Team TX-07 also delivered valentines to veterans at the Richmond VA Clinic and Sugar Land VA Clinic. “Across our community, we are grateful for the love of country our veterans have demonstrated, and the Valentines for Vets program provides one small way to express our appreciation to them,” said Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher .  “I hope these messages brighten the days of all who receive them this year, and I am grateful to everyone who participated and helped spread the love this Valentine’s Day.” This is Congresswoman Fletcher’s sixth year running the Valentines for Vets program in TX-07.
