Senator Dave McCormick Recognizes Judicial Appointment Commissions
May 9, 2025, Washington, D.C. – Senator Dave McCormick (R-Pennsylvania) recognized the regional commission members who recommended U.S. Attorney and U.S. Marshal candidates to fill vacancies in the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Pennsylvania. Thecommissions were establishedandchairs appointedearlier this year to ensure the highest quality candidates were chosen to serve Pennsylvanians.
“Pennsylvanians deserve to have outstanding U.S. Attorneys and Marshals working for them to uphold the rule of law, prosecute criminals, and keep our communities safe,” Senator McCormick said. “I want to thank the chairs of each commission – Andy, David, and Lori – for their leadership, as well as the commission members from across PA, for their time and expertise. I’m confident that the guidance from these commissions will help me recommend exceptional candidates who are prepared to serve and protect all Pennsylvanians.”
The commissions worked over the last several months to vet applicants and make final recommendations to Senator McCormick, which his office will review in the coming weeks before making final recommendations to the Administration.
