Rep. Jackson Introduces Bill to Remove UN Headquarters from New York
WASHINGTON — Today, Congressman Ronny Jackson (TX-13) introduced a bill to implement a strategy to relocate the headquarters of the United Nations . This legislation directs the Secretary of State to develop a strategy to relocate the UN Headquarters to a city that upholds President Trump’s standard of national security, economic responsibility, and the principles of American strength. “New York City has embraced radical, anti-American policies that make its streets unsafe, drive-up costs, and undermine the values this nation stands for, and it is no longer the place to showcase America’s greatest attributes to the world,” said Rep. Ronny Jackson . “Under President Trump, American strength is back on full display, and when we host the United Nations, it must be in a city that reflects our security, prosperity, and exceptionalism.” Cosponsors include Representatives Jim Baird (IN-04) and Darrell Issa (CA-48).
