November 10, 2025 Press Release Today, U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (IL-05) released the following statement on the announced Senate deal: “This deal fails on the one thing we promised to deliver for the American people. Millions of Americans are about to see their health care costs skyrocket, and we have nothing more to reassure them with than the hope that Senate Republicans and Speaker Johnson will do the right thing. History has shown us that Republicans cannot be trusted to protect health care.
