Statement from Rep. Gabe Vasquez on Trump Officials’ National Security Breach

March 25, 2025 Press Release LAS CRUCES, NM – Today, U.S. Representative Gabe Vasquez (NM-02) shared the following statement in response to the Administration’s security breach . “This egregious breach of protocol by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and other Trump officials puts our national security at risk. Sharing sensitive military plans—including with a reporter—on an unsecured app is reckless and unacceptable. I’ve heard from constituents who are deeply concerned about their loved ones deployed overseas. “Our troops and their families deserve better. There must be swift accountability to ensure this never happens again.
