Letter Outlines First-Year Progress, Challenges We Face, and Priorities Moving Forward
WASHINGTON, D.C., December 22, 2025 –Concluding his first year in office, Senator McCormick today released his first everAnnual Letter to Pennsylvanians, a performance report on his first year in office highlighting progress made on his commitments, challenges that remain, and the priorities he will pursue in the year ahead.
“As my first year in the United States Senate ends, I wanted to try a new way of reporting to my constituents that reflects the accountability I embraced in the private sector,”said Senator McCormickregarding his first Annual Letter. “I am the 54th Senator elected from Pennsylvania and the ninth Senator in American history to graduate from West Point. To hold this seat at such a consequential moment for our country and for the Commonwealth is the honor of a lifetime. I owe it to my fellow Pennsylvanians to give an honest assessment of the first year and to keep listening to their feedback.”
Before entering public service, Senator McCormick served as a CEO, where quarterly shareholder reports and ongoing performance assessments were essential to measuring success. When serving in the U.S. Army’s 82ndAirborne Division, he participated in formal after-action reviews designed to identify what worked, what didn’t, and what needed to change. Across both experiences, accountability for results mattered and this fundamental principle remains in place as the foundation for Senator McCormick’s first Annual Letter to Pennsylvanians.
