2026 brings savings and tax cuts for working families

Dear friends and neighbors, This tax season, you and your family will see the positive effects of the Working Families Tax Cuts Act that Congress passed in 2025. As your voice in the U.S. Senate, I am committed to providing you great customer service—that includes passing legislation to build and protect your and your family’s financial prosperity. Keep what you earn Putting families first As part of our commitment to put American families first, the budget law includes a collection of provisions to make your life easier and more affordable. Investing in America This budget law also provides several business deductions and policies that protect small business owners and allow American companies to grow. If you are a small business owner, the bill makes the 20% deduction for small businesses that file as individuals permanent. The bill also expands deduction investments in machinery, equipment, and software from $1 million to $2.5 million, allowing you to grow your business. It’s not enough to keep the government out of your pocket—I believe that Congress should incentivize Americans to work hard, raise a family, and run a business. The budget law accomplishes all three.
