"Agriculture is Pennsylvania's number one industry and the Commonwealth's producers are essential to feeding, clothing, and fueling our country and the world," Chairman Thompson said . "As the first Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee from Pennsylvania in more than 170 years, our farmers have a seat at the table when it comes to crafting the future of federal farm policy.
