Knott Delivers Remarks at Rules Committee

July 21, 2025 Press Release WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Brad Knott (NC-13) delivered remarks in support of his and Representative Stephanie Bice's bill, the Stop Illegal Entry Act. The bill strengthens penalties against criminal illegal aliens and deters illegal re-entry after deportation. Passing through the Rules Committee is the final step before the legislation makes its way to the House Floor for a vote. “With this law, we change the cost/benefit analysis for criminals, who will then conclude that it is not worth it to come here—or to return here—to pursue criminal activity,” Rep.
