Mast Announces Winner Of 2025 Congressional Art Competition

STUART, Fla. – Congressman Brian Mast (FL-21) honored the participants of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition and announced Gianna Pagano from Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach County as the winner. Her piece was selected as a finalist by local experts and awarded first prize by Rep. Mast. “I'm constantly impressed by the brilliance and talent of our youth,” s aid Rep. Brian Mast . “Their passion, creativity, and drive give us hope for the future. There’s so much skill, effort, and imagination in these pieces, I’m proud of every single student who participated.” Gianna’s art work will be displayed alongside the winners from each Congressional district across the country in the halls of the U.S. Capitol for one year and will receive a trip to Washington, D.C. The annual Art Competition showcases the artistic abilities of the talented students from the 21st congressional district. This year’s competition featured 51 submissions from 10 s chools across Martin, St. Lucie, and Palm Beach Counties. The other finalists were: 2nd place: Jamie Lopes - Martin County High School 3rd Place: Ty Nguyen -  Treasure Coast High School Honorable mentions were awarded to: Reagan Tschudi - Martin County High School Olivia Tingley - South Fork High School Daniel Borovina - Martin County High School Brooklyn Kelly - Martin County High School Lulu Hamed - Oxbridge Academy Chloe Apple -  Somerset College Prep Academy Every year, the Congressional Art Competition honors the exceptional artistic abilities of high school students from across the country. The goal of the competition is to support and promote the arts, as well as to foster creativity and artistic expression among our nation’s youth. The Congressional Art Competition began in 1982, and since that time, more than 700,000 students have participated. ###
