07.10.26 Cantwell Statement on Court Requiring Northwest ICE Processing Center To Admit Health Inspectors EDMONDS, WA – Yesterday, a federal judge ruled that the operators of the Northwest ICE Processing Center in Tacoma must admit inspectors from the Washington State Department of Health, after years of refusing them entry. U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) issued the following statement: “The court has sided with the rule of law in allowing health inspectors into the Northwest ICE detention center.
