B-roll and photos from the event are available here and below. “Iowa’s farmers and small businesses compete on a global stage every single day. Today’s conversation focused on making sure they have the tools to win and that their priorities are front and center in the policies I’m fighting for in Washington,” said Rep. Nunn . “That means advancing a strong Farm Bill, securing new trade agreements, and strengthening the supply chains and markets Iowa producers and Main Street businesses rely on.” The roundtable comes just two weeks after Rep. Nunn led a congressional delegation to Taiwan , where he pushed for expanded market access for Iowa agriculture and ethanol under the newly signed U.S.-Taiwan Reciprocal Trade Agreement. Iowa exported more than $225 million in agricultural goods to Taiwan last year, and the agreement would eliminate tariffs of up to 26% on key products like beef, dairy, and corn once ratified by Taiwan’s legislature. Hosted by the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition at the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates, the discussion brought together approximately 50 leaders from Iowa’s business, agriculture, military, and civic communities. Participants focused on advancing trade agreements, reinforcing supply chains, and ensuring Iowa producers remain competitive in an increasingly global economy. B-roll is available here .
