WASHINGTON, DC— Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement after Leader Jeffries’s discharge petition, to extend the enhanced Affordable Care Act (ACA) premium tax credits for three years, reached the required 218 signatures to be brought to the House floor for a vote: “The American people can’t wait any longer. Speaker Johnson has the power and responsibility to bring this discharge petition to the floor today and save health care for tens of millions.” ##
