I called for a ceasefire over a year ago because I support peace, a release of all the hostages, and a Palestinian state free of Hamas.

It should be clear to all that the Netanyahu government’s plans for another massive escalation of the war in Gaza will cause more horrific death and will not end this conflict. Netanyahu seems more motivated by staying in power.

Starvation is worsening, and aid is not reaching the people who need it in Gaza. Innocent people and children are dying.

The United States must do everything in its power to end this war now," said Congressman Garcia .
