<p>Back in February, <strong>Attorney General Pam Bondi</strong> stated on Fox News that the “client list” was <strong><a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bondi-says-epstein-client-list-sitting-my-desk-right-now-reviewing-jfk-mlk-files" rel="noopener external noreferrer" target="_blank">sitting on her desk and being reviewed,</a> </strong>and that it was a<a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bondi-says-epstein-client-list-sitting-my-desk-right-now-reviewing-jfk-mlk-files" rel="noopener external noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong> direct order from President Trump.</strong></a></p><p>But earlier this month, Trump’s Department of Justice said that <strong><a href="https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/epstein-client-list-doesnt-exist-doj-says-walking-back-theory-bondi-promoted" rel="noopener external noreferrer" target="_blank">no client list existed</a></strong>, walking back Bondi’s statements.</p><p><strong>Yes, that’s right: Pam Bondi was directed by Trump to review the Epstein files. <em>Now Trump&#8217;s Department of Justice says they don’t exist.</em></strong></p><p>Last week, the Wall Street Journal <a href="https://www.wsj.com/politics/justice-department-told-trump-name-in-epstein-files-727a8038?gaa_at=eafs&amp;gaa_n=AWEtsqeoxwxcSd8hIoFqsEBaXOZ1-U_5aewv1-MCMBqXa5LIK9jEveY7-dyqP2QePZo%3D&amp;gaa_ts=69b30986&amp;gaa_sig=JBcD0103FtFJ8hdQj4re89jRV7vxg8qeG79mQ1oG-_29ptKxqNLIQqIBUN9kZHbUlmGrddZSgDRuE0mczoAncw%3D%3D" rel="noopener external noreferrer" target="_blank">reported</a> that the DOJ briefed Trump that his name was among many high-profile figures <a href="https://www.wsj.com/politics/justice-department-told-trump-name-in-epstein-files-727a8038?gaa_at=eafs&amp;gaa_n=ASWzDAiDDA2XsYOM3qudsbYJRHWz3KlZIRsLEUJrWB3b_BBwHHryHNXNPnFTlbOtsR8%3D&amp;gaa_ts=688a381a&amp;gaa_sig=dMbwE4d2fS13rAEPGjXPOg54zAUy42JqNzxvXT95-Yk__1QTb4dWb0N1vT8Pw6KmCYmoXFZ81KbYnKZMg0Q_Ig%3D%3D" rel="noopener external noreferrer" target="_blank">listed in the Epstein files.</a></p><p>However, <a href="https://www.pbs.org/weta/washingtonweek/video/2025/07/trumps-epstein-controversy-shows-no-end-in-sight#:~:text=Reporter%3A%20Were%20you,never%20brief%2C%20no." rel="noopener external noreferrer" target="_blank">President Trump now claims</a> that the DOJ never informed him—and further alleges that his name <a href="http://newsweek.com/donald-trump-name-planted-epstein-files-relationship-conspiracy-2105171#:~:text=He%20continued%2C%20&quot;Now,sick%2C%20sick%20people.&quot;" rel="noopener external noreferrer" target="_blank">was planted in the files</a>, even while <strong>admitting</strong> he and Epstein <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/trump-says-jeffrey-epstein-stole-virginia-giuffre-worked-mar-lago-spa-rcna221810" rel="noopener external noreferrer" target="_blank">clashed about one of the victims</a> who had worked at Mar-a-Lago.</p><p><strong>The American people deserve to know the truth about Jeffrey Epstein and his inner circle.</strong></p><p>Last week, <strong><a href="https://apnews.com/article/epstein-files-congress-democrats-subpoena-republicans-trump-5d17ea83f7ffeff5784159848b97f38e" rel="noopener external noreferrer" target="_blank">House Democrats forced votes to subpoena the DOJ for the release of the Epstein Files</a></strong>—which may explain the crimes of convicted child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and <strong>identify his accomplices.</strong></p><p>But <strong><a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2025/07/22/house-republicans-epstein-files-mike-johnson/" rel="noopener external noreferrer" target="_blank">House Republicans voted to effectively block</a></strong> a debate on whether or not the Department of Justice should release the files. Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson then <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2025/07/22/house-republicans-epstein-files-mike-johnson/#:~:text=The%20House%20will%20adjourn%20Wednesday%2C%20a%20day%20earlier%20than%20expected%2C%20for%20its%20five%2Dweek%20recess%20from%20Washington%20after%20Republicans%20blocked%20most%20legislation%20from%20reaching%20the%20chamber%20floor%20for%20a%20vote%20this%20week.%20That%20means%20any%20move%20to%20release%20the%20files%20won%E2%80%99t%20come%20to%20the%20floor%20until%20at%20least%20September%2C%20if%20ever." rel="noopener external noreferrer" target="_blank">canceled votes</a> and sent Congress home early.</p><p>No one in the government should be trying to keep the facts on these child predators hidden. <strong>Congress must pursue the truth.</strong></p><p>Sincerely,</p><p>Jim</p> </div>
