WASHINGTON, D.C.– Today, Senator Alsobrooks (D-Md.) questioned Dr. Jayanta “Jay” Bhattacharya, the Trump Administration’s Nominee to serve as Director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). NIH is headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland. ​The Bethesda campus supports approximately 18,000 NIH employees.
