Griffith Sworn in for 119th Congress, Statement on Speaker Mike Johnson’s Election

The U.S. House of Representatives voted to elect Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House. Following Speaker Johnson’s election, U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) joined fellow Members of the House to be officially sworn in for the 119 th Congress. Congressman Griffith released the following statement: “The American people elected a Republican trifecta in 2024 to work to reverse inflationary policies caused by the Biden Administration, secure our southern and northern borders, and project American strength worldwide.
