Congressman Suhas Subramanyam Announces Over $2 Million in Critical Infrastructure Funding for Regional Airports
July 10, 2025 Press Release Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Subramanyam announced over $2 million in federal funding for local airports, including $1,035,500 for taxiway reconstruction at Leesburg Executive Airport and $1,019,868 forrunway rehabilitation at Manassas Regional Airport. “Leesburg Executive and Manassas Regional Airports are critical parts of our local economy, supporting jobs, innovation, investment, and connectivity,” Congressman Subramanyam said . “I was proud to support these projects because they will improve air safety and boost our regional economy at a time when air safety has become a major issue.” The funding, provided by the Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Improvement Program, will improve the efficiency and the safety of both regional airports. These investments are a result of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which has provided hundreds of millions of dollars in funding for airports across the region, including over $100 million to support the construction of a new terminal at Dulles International Airport, also located in Congressman Subramanyam’s district. ### Issues : Congress
