Issa Kicks Off 61st Annual Lakeside Rodeo, Recognizes Stadium Association for Lakeside Youth

April 29, 2025 Press Release LAKESIDE, CA— Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-48) attended the historic Lakeside Rodeo, celebrating 61 years of this beloved community tradition and charitable giving to the Lakeside youth. During the opening ceremony, Rep. Issa delivered remarks and recognized the Stadium Association for their longtime contributions to the community, raising over $250,000 for Lakeside Community Youth in the last 7 years. Congressman Issa also met with constituents and discussed the importance of preserving the soul of the American West and celebrating this annual rodeo tradition— the largest in Southern California. Congressman Issa is the founder of the Congressional Rodeo Caucus, a Capitol Hill initiative formed to educate, recognize, and help sustain the Western way of life in communities across the country.
