Hundreds Join Magaziner for Town Hall in East Greenwich

April 4, 2025 Press Release EAST GREENWICH, RI – Today, U.S. Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) connected with more than 200 constituents at a town hall at Swift Community Center in East Greenwich. During the event, Magaziner answered questions from Rhode Islanders about the issues that matter most to them and gave critical updates on his work in Washington. "Meeting face-to-face with Rhode Islanders is the most important part of my job—especially at a time when so many are rightfully concerned about the dysfunction in Washington,” said Magaziner. “I’m glad to have this conversation with hundreds who are ready to show up, get involved, and make their voices heard on the issues that matter most – including the cost of living, protecting Social Security and Medicaid, and protecting our democracy." During the town hall, Magaziner took questions on topics including the impact of the Trump administration’s tariffs on household costs, and Congressional Republican plans to cut Medicaid.
