Congressman Mike Haridopolos Votes Yes on the HALT Fentanyl Act

February 6, 2025 Press Release Washington, D.C. – On Thursday, Congressman Mike Haridopolos (FL-08) voted with his fellow Republicans to pass H.R. 27, The HALT Fentanyl Act. This landmark legislation will permanently classify fentanyl-related substances in Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act. By doing so, this bill will ensure law enforcement officers have the resources to keep Fentanyl out of American communities. “Fentanyl overdoses have become an epidemic in our country.
