January 6, 2025 Press Release WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Jesús “Chuy” García (IL-04) released the following statement after Congress certified the presidential election results: “Today my colleagues and I fulfilled our constitutional duty and voted in a peaceful and orderly way to certify the results of the election.
