Rep. Sykes Hosts Constituents for Community Conversation in Twinsburg

February 27, 2026 Rep. Sykes Hosts Constituents for Community Conversation in Twinsburg TWINSBURG, Ohio — In case you missed it, U.S. Representative Emilia Sykes (OH-13) held a Community Conversation Thursday night at Twinsburg High School. During the conversation, Rep. Sykes discussed how she is advocating for her constituents in Washington D.C. by working to lower costs, safeguard earned benefits, protect public safety, and fight government corruption. Rep. Sykes also outlined the more than $12.5 million in FY26 Community Project Funding she secured for local water infrastructure, parks, safety facilities, and neighborhood improvement projects. “Last night was a powerful reminder of why I do this work. Hearing directly from neighbors about what matters most keeps me grounded and focused. Every question, every concern, and every story shared here shapes the work I do in Washington. I am committed to fighting for this community every single day because the people I serve are the reason I show up,” said Rep. Sykes. Rep. Sykes was joined at the Community Conversation by Summit County Council President Erin Dickinson. “I appreciated the opportunity to speak directly with the people of Summit County and address their concerns,” said President Dickinson. “I am grateful to Congresswoman Sykes for all the work she does in Washington to stand up for the people of Ohio’s 13th Congressional District."
