Statement on Tragic Suicide of Marcy Correctional Facility Civilian Employee

SARATOGA, N.Y. – Republican candidate for New York Governor Elise Stefanik released the following statement: "New Yorkers are deeply saddened by the tragic news of a civilian staff member taking their own life at Marcy Correctional Facility this morning, and our prayers are with their family. I represent thousands of COs and their families and the past few years have been devastating due to failed state leadership and policies."
