ADVISORY: Sanders, Welch to Announce Millions in Federal Funding for Vermont

MONTPELIER, Vt., Feb. 5 – Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Sen. Peter Welch (D-Vt.) on Friday, February 6 at 1:30 p.m. will hold a press conference in Montpelier to announce millions in federal funding that the Vermont congressional delegation secured for 69 Vermont projects addressing critical needs across the state.
The funding for these projects, or “earmarks,” was included in the three Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations packages passed by Congress and signed into law in November, January and last week.
