WASHINGTON, D.C. — Tonight, Congressman Mark Harris (NC-08) applauded House passage of H.R. 9770, the Continuing Appropriations Act , 2027. The legislation would continue federal funding through December 4, 2026, while Congress completes work on the full-year FY2027 appropriations bills. “Americans cannot afford another manufactured Democratic shutdown,” said Congressman Harris. “Tonight, nearly every House Democrat went on the record as the party of chaos, putting political games ahead of the American people.
