Scott: No ICE Funding Without Reforms
March 5, 2026 Press Release WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Bobby Scott (VA-03) issued the following statement after voting against H.R. 7744, the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2026.: “Donald Trump initiated a reckless war of choice with Iran, but that does not mean Congress must continue funding U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) without meaningful reforms, especially after ICE agents have terrorized communities, violated the Constitution, and killed American citizens.” Congressman Scott is a cosponsor of H.R. 7481, the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2026.
