Landsman Statement After Name Included in Minnesota Murder Suspect’s Notes

<p><strong><em>Cincinnati, OH</em></strong><em> – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman (D-OH-01) released the following statement after he was informed by Capitol Police his name appeared in evidence linked to the Minnesota Murder Suspect:</em></p>

<p>On Sunday morning, Capitol Police contacted my office to inform me that the FBI had found my name among the evidence collected during the search for a suspect in Minnesota – who is accused of murdering and seriously injuring lawmakers.</p>

<p>Since the suspect was still at large at that time, we worked very closely with the Cincinnati Police Department to arrange for increased security for my family and me.</p>

<p>I’m extremely thankful to the Cincinnati Police Department for their quick assistance and to Capitol Police for their guidance.</p>

<p>We are relieved the suspect has been arrested.</p>

<p>As this is an ongoing investigation, we want to keep you informed, but we do not currently have additional information to share.</p>
