Van Orden Statement on Israel's Strikes on Tehran

June 13, 2025 Press Release WASHINGTON, D.C. –  Today, Congressman Derrick Van Orden (WI-03) released the following statement on Israel's strikes on Tehran: "The Iranian regime is responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans and was enabled by the weak leadership under the Obama and Biden administrations. "They are the world’s greatest state sponsor of terrorism, and allowing the regime to inch closer to developing nuclear weapons was a foolish proposition. Iran must never possess a nuclear weapon. "I fully support Israel’s strikes against Iranian military targets as a necessary defense of their sovereignty and a decisive stand for our shared national security interests."
