January 30, 2025 Press Release WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) released the below statement following the tragic plane crash in Washington: “My heart is broken by the tragic accident in Washington last night, on a flightpath to DCA that I regularly use as part of my job, and carrying a crew based in Charlotte. I am praying for the victims on the airline, the Army helicopter, and their loved ones, and my heart and gratitude are with the first responders on the scene.
