Messmer's Pro-Family Care Legislation Clears House Education and Workforce Committee

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Mark Messmer’s (R-IN) Empowering Employer Child and Elder Care Solutions Act ( H.R. 2270 ) overwhelmingly passed the House Education and Workforce Committee. This legislation makes it easier for employers to provide childcare and dependent care assistance to employees by removing unnecessary regulations and red tape that until now prevented them from doing so. “ I am thrilled that the House Education and Workforce Committee advanced my bill to provide American family caregivers with this important opportunity, ” said Rep.
