Learning More About the University of Guam’s Sea Grant Program

March 6, 2026 Newsletters University of Guam Sea Grant Director Dr. Austin Shelton and Associate Director (and former Saipan resident) Fran Castro visited with me on Tuesday while in DC for the annual meetings of the National Sea Grant Association. They are also meeting with other Members of Congress to advocate for FY 2027 funding for the national Sea Grant program in the upcoming appropriations bills. I am proud to support the Sea Grant Program and look forward to seeing our own program established at the Northern Marianas College soon. Thanks for visiting, Fran and Austin. Image
