Rep. Norcross Releases Statement on the H.R.29 Vote

WASHINGTON, DC —Today, Representative Donald Norcross (NJ-01) released a statement on the H.R.29 vote. “There's no doubt that America needs comprehensive immigration reform, but H.R.29 doesn't accomplish that goal. If passed into law, this bill would mean that someone with U.S. legal protected status could be deported for a nonviolent crime, such as shoplifting a piece of gum.
