Barr Praises Trump’s Leadership, Votes for the Big, Beautiful, Bill

Washington, D.C.— Today, U.S. Congressman Andy Barr (R-KY) cast his vote to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, championed by President Donald Trump. The package extends and expands the 2017 tax cuts and provides a major boost for border security efforts. Kentuckians will see a 24% tax hike if the 2017 tax cuts are allowed to expire later this year. The Big, Beautiful Bill now heads to the U.S. Senate for consideration. “President Trump’s leadership put us one step closer to getting One Big Beautiful Bill across the finish line,” said Congressman Barr. “I proudly cast my vote to support President Trump and deliver a massive tax cut for families, workers, seniors, and small businesses.
