WASHINGTON, D.C. –Senator Jim Banks (R-Ind.) released the following statement after securing critical funding for Indiana priorities in President Trump’s reconciliation bill.
Following Congress’ passage of President Trump’s budget framework earlier this month, this legislation marks the second step in the reconciliation process on the path to “one big, beautiful bill”. It ensures the President has the resources he needs to extend the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, boost defense spending, and strengthen security along the U.S.-Mexico border.
