Rep. Sewell Votes NO on Senate Republicans’ Budget Framework

Terri Sewell (AL-07) released the following statement after voting NO on Senate Republicans’ budget framework which passed the House today by a vote of 216 to 214. “The Republican budget takes food away from hungry families and makes massive cuts to health care in order to give trillions in tax breaks to the very wealthy. Under their proposal, billionaires like Elon Musk get rewarded while hard working Alabama families get left behind.
