January 7, 2026 Press Release WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following comment on the ICE shooting of a civilian woman in Minneapolis, Minnesota. “I am outraged by the unnecessary killing of an unarmed woman near a Minnesota ICE operation by a masked ICE agent. This tragedy stems from a reckless federal operation carried out over the objections of local leaders. These actions are not making our communities safer. They are spreading fear, chaos, and death.
