Senators Rosen and Lankford have worked together across the aisle to protect Jewish communities across the country and strengthen federal efforts to fight antisemitism. Their leadership on the bipartisan Jewish American Security Act will protect Jewish communities, students, and institutions from antisemitic hate, violence, discrimination, and intimidation across sectors. “When Senator Lankford and I founded the first-ever Senate Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Antisemitism, we made it our goal to bring the fight against antisemitism and Holocaust denial to the forefront of the national agenda. Through introducing and passing legislation, engaging with Administrations of both parties, and organizing active discussions with high-ranking officials both at home and abroad, we’ve managed to reach across the aisle and push for real change and protections for Jewish communities at home and abroad,” said Senator Rosen. “It is truly an honor to receive the Levenson Defender of Democracy award with my good friend and colleague Senator James Lankford. We promise to continue fighting to ensure that Jewish communities everywhere can practice their religion and participate in society without fear.” As just the third Jewish woman to ever serve in the U.S. Senate and the first former synagogue president, Senator Rosen has been leading the fight against antisemitism. She and Senator Lankford helped elevate the U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism to the rank of Ambassador. Senator Rosen also successfully led the bipartisan push last Congress to reauthorize the bipartisan Never Again Education Act , which she was also instrumental in helping to pass in 2020. She and Senator Lankford also introduced the Holocaust Education and Antisemitism Lessons (HEAL) Act , which would direct the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum to study and report on state efforts to educate students on the Holocaust. ### Facebook-f Instagram Youtube Flickr Contact Email Jacky Request a Meeting Office Locations Newsletter Signup Privacy Policy Contact Email Jacky Request a Meeting Office Locations Newsletter Signup Privacy Policy For Nevadans Constituent Services Help With a Federal Agency Flag Requests Tour Requests Internships Senate Page Nominations Academy Nominations For Nevadans Constituent Services Help With a Federal Agency Flag Requests Tour Requests Internships Senate Page Nominations Academy Nominations Resource Guides Veterans Resource Guide Senior Resource Guide Small Business Pocket Guide Federal Funding Grant Requests Appropriations Requests Community Project Funding Resource Guides Veterans Resource Guide Senior Resource Guide Small Business Pocket Guide Federal Funding Grant Requests Appropriations Requests Community Project Funding About Jacky Biography Committees Voting Record Legislation News Press Releases In the News Videos About Jacky Biography Committees Voting Record Legislation News Press Releases In the News Videos
