Ocasio-Cortez Statement on Worsening Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza

May 21, 2025 Press Release Press Release Washington, DC – Today, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) released a statement following reports of the Israeli government blocking humanitarian assistance from entering Gaza. “Israel's blockade of food and humanitarian assistance to Gaza is in violation of international law. Another 14,000 babies face severe malnutrition if the Israeli government does not reverse course. The United States can prevent this atrocity.
