March 24, 2026 Press Release WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman John Garamendi (CA-08) issued the following statement in response to ICE agents detaining a mother and daughter at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) on Sunday: “I am deeply concerned for Angelina Lopez-Jimenez and her daughter. “My team and I, as well as my Bay Area colleagues, are seeking immediate answers to the family’s condition and whereabouts. “While we have received some preliminary answers from ICE, they are insufficient.
